Here are some tips that I found while surfing thought to share with you.

Use heavy-pigmented cream foundation and layer it with powder foundation to make the skin look smoother.
Use powder foundation on neck, ears and chest too so that you don't seem to have a painted face.
Use a concealer shade similar to the foundation and blend both well.
Learn some camouflage makeup tricks and buy its products to use on your big day.
If you have combination skin, use water based foundation and a dry sponge.
Hide the under eye circles by applying concealer. Blend it towards the nose and use downward strokes.
For a perfect eye shape, use a small brush to blend a medium tone color from just below the brow arch downwards in a semi-circle motion.
Use light peach eye shadow as eyelid base.
Choose lip liner that blends easily with lipstick for that soft glossy look that looks good in photographs too.
Place the focus on the face either on eyes or on lip and underplay the other with neutral pink or brown shades.
Thin and small lips look more sensuous with light Lip Colour while fuller lips can use deep shades.

thanks for the tips. But don't you think this is supposed to be a make up tip rather than fashion? :)

Well, I agree with your post. I think putting make up is not good to me because I have an allergy with that. But then, thanks for sharing those fashion tips. :confused:

Well good for you standing out of the "dude" crowd! I am not making fun of u 4 wearing a skirt. All you do is wear it with sneakers.If anyone makes fun of you, ignore them. They are just immature. Pleated skirts go with anything you want them to go with.

Here are some tips in order to solve any possible confusion related to the fashion topic.

• Wear what you like and what suits you;
• Wear a skin colour bra under a white blouse;
• Wear horizontal stripes if you have narrow shoulders, small breasts and narrow hips. You can also wear horizontal stripes on the narrow parts of your body if you want to divert attention from a big bust or hips;
• Try to show your physical qualities and hide the defects;
• Wear artificial fur because the natural one is old- fashioned;
• Use a natural make-up during the day;
• Wear low size trousers if you have a big posterior. Those trousers designed with a high size will stress this little defect;
• Wear the appropriate size because a small t-shirt or bra won’t give you a sexy look but an unpleasant appearance;
• Don’t wear long skirts with large t-shirts. This combination will make you look fatter;
• Don’t let your lingerie out of the trousers; it will give you an unpleasant, vulgar look;
• Don’t use black lipstick;
• Don’t exaggerate in using all kind of accessories as, for example, a ring on every finger;
• Don’t mix up styles. For example, don’t wear sport accessories with an elegant outfit, or any other weird combination.

Always remember that color choice is not a science. There is no one way that works for every person. Illusion is the focus. Use color as your tool, to create the illusion you desire. Take time with yourself to play with colors and patterns. This is the only way you will gain an understanding of who you are in terms of color. You will no longer be relegated to picking outfits exactly as they are in catalogs. Nor will you be stuck with a boring wardrobe out of fear of experimentation. Make up your mind as to what you want your look to be and then work some color magic on yourself.

Your tips are very nice and useful.. Now a days everyone crazy about fashion.. Fashion means self-expression, it enables us to say something important to the world about who we are, or who we'd like to be.. The clothes we wear say things about us, even to people we don't talk with directly..

Nice tips, And a great article. I think the classical fashion is a almost too forgotten concept today. Also, would it be correct to assume the correct headwear for the man would be nothing at all, And as much as I despise formal wear, it would be nice to have some sort of fashionable wardrobe.

Just adding some my view for Fashion trends to include minimalism, high-voltage patterns, romanticism, sweet pastels, glamorous look, little wild look and soft-looking women's revealing sheers. Don't wear mesh clothing its not a good look.

The Art W760 ankle boots are made from pull grain leather in charol violeta purple with an array of stitching arching it's way across the uppers. The lace-up of these womens heeled boots are lined with metal eyelets and hooks, and bound with round laces. The padded topline of the Art W760 boots leads inside, providing a comfortable fit alongside the cushioned insole. The Capital Text design of the sole unit is a unique feature and supports the foot as it rises onto the 8.5cm (3.25 inches) block heel.

The best trend is no trend! Who cares what's in the magazines and on TV? If you like what you wear and you wear it with a smile, you will set the trend! People will think you look great and go to you for fashion trends. Be spontaneous and always try something new.
Good luck!

I agree with trying out new things and not be satisfied with staying in the box. Always reinvent and don't be afraid to go out of your comfort zone. Sometimes it's good to go with the trend but if you don't have the confidence to pull it off, it will show. Feel good about what you are wearing and have the right attitude and you'll be fine :)

And I think that as we get older it becomes much harder to pull off "trendy" fashion styles without looking like a complete fool.I think older women (like me) are better suited to classics. With the possible exception of a trendy hairstyle for someone older. I am at the age where wearing low rise jeans or thigh-high leather boots would make people run in the opposite direction :)

Something lambskin that the cries of "Cozy!" for me. These adorable booties Nine West is certainly something I want my feet warm when the cold sets in, but what I really like is hybrid butcher down the liner, which distinguishes it from all other boots ankle.
