There are a number of anti wrinkle creams available that have been shown to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and cause a significant improvement to the appearance of the skin. Creams containing vitamin A, vitamin E, tretinoin, hydroxyl alphas or coenzyme Q10 may minimize wrinkles and pores. Check with your pharmacist or beautician for the best cream or supplement for your problem. For any new cream, always perform a skin test first.

Nutritional supplements may improve your skin's health and help to minimize wrinkles and pores. They may also assist the skin to repair from damage. Nutritional supplements are generally not as effective as topical creams, but they might help. Here are some of the nutritional supplements that are thought to be good in the prevention and treatment of wrinkles.

* Vitamin C.
* Vitamin E.
* Green tea.
* Folic acid.
* Evening Primrose Oil.
* Ginkgo Biloba.

SURGERY

There are a number of surgical procedures that can treat wrinkles and cause a more youthful looking appearance.

* A facelift will lift up the facial skin. It is good for people who wish to reverse facial sagging.
* Resurfacing can reduce wrinkles on the surface of the skin.
* Tissue augmentation uses fillers to plump out wrinkles.
* Botox and other anti-wrinkle injections are toxins that are injected into the facial muscles to relax wrinkles.

Conclusion

It is possible to reduce lines and wrinkles and many natural and over-the-counter wrinkle treatments will help you do so. Some of the effects of ageing can even be reversed if you are prepared to undergo surgery. However, it is far easier stop skin wrinkles from occurring, than it is to treat them once they are there. Minimize wrinkles and pores by quitting smoking and protecting yourself from the sun.

I should say that smoking will have an effect on your skin because it will dry your skin. I know many smokers who have drier skin compared to those who don't. If you cannot quit smoking but you care too much for your skin, just make sure you have enough water in your body and apply lotion more often :)

Peptide-based cream is one of the best anti-aging creams. Peptide brightens and firms the skin. Vitamin A is such a great ingredient as well. It boosts collagen production. I use Rejuvenating Night Cream from mineral skin care which has peptide and vitamin A.
When it comes to supplements, resveratrol and grapeseed extract are one the best.
