Skin is a complex mixture of components – water, fat, fatty acids, salts, sugars, proteins, fibres and hairs. Everybody has a unique skin chemistry that will interact with fragrance in different ways.

To get your perfume to last throughout the day, layer it with a perfumed body lotion of the same scent. A light mist on your hair and clothes works well, too.

Solid perfumes last longer because they’re oil-based. Liquid perfumes are mostly alcohol, which evaporates quicker.
