I just had my baby delivered 4 and a half months ago and I now have a lot of stretch marks. Is there any way of getting rid of them? I hate it when my husband has to see them. If you know a way on how to get rid of them, please let me know.

Hi there! First of all congratulations on the baby, and second I'm sorry to hear about the stretch marks. I recommend you apply the lotion/moisturizers that contain one of these major ingredients several times a day, massaging the affected area to soften your skin more. The results may be slow but this will help minimize your stretch marks. Please let us know how it goes. I'm glad that you came to us to ask for help. If you need anything more, don't hesitate to ask us here :)
Cocoa Butter
One of the most natural cures for stretch marks is cocoa butter. Pure cocoa butter or rich, hydrating cocoa-butter lotion directly applied to stretch marks helps fade and diminish redness from stretch marks.
Aloe Vera Gel
When applied directly, pure aloe vera gel helps fade stretch marks. Aloe vera is commonly used to treat skin conditions.
Vitamins A and K
Lotions that contain concentrated amounts of vitamins A or K also help reduce stretch marks. Vitamins K and A are known to help improve the skin's texture and overall health.
Seeds and Nuts
Zinc is found in seeds and nuts. By eating more seeds and nuts, the added zinc in the diet can help reduce the appearance of stretch marks.
Lavender Oil
Lavender oil helps fade stretch marks. When applied three times a day, the therapeutic benefits of lavender oil heals and diminishes the bumpy texture and redness of stretch marks.
I'll post another thread on stretch marks. Please take a moment to read them too. Thanks :)

Hi there! Congratulations on your new baby!
Many creams and lotions in the market claim that they do make stretch marks go away. However, only a few of them are effective. If you want to be sure that your stretch marks will be removed in its entirety, you may need to visit a dermatologist or cosmetic surgeon.
The many types of methods that they can possibly use to cure can range from major surgery to microdermabrasion. Some surgeons will also suggest laser surgery as a treatment option. This technique has been gaining popularity because a laser beam is used to burn off the top layer of scarring skin. The good thing about this treatment is that you will suffer only minimal pain without the risk of bleeding.
The methods used by doctors are effective yet they can be very expensive. And because this is a cosmetic procedure, you will have to pay out of your own pocket.
Also, you may try Dazzler143's suggestion. It is a natural way of treating stretchmarks. It is also easy on the budget.
first of all congrats for your new baby.
nowadays some special treatments are available to remove the marks in our body. so, you can try out those treatments.
