I love the scent of a light citrus fragrance. My tastes may not be what everyone likes but heavy floral scents are cloying to me. I've been in situations where I've actually had to leave the room I was in because someone smelled like they doused themselves in the whole bottle and the scent way nauseating.
How much is too much? I spray or dab a little behind the ears, knees, neck, and wrists and feel this is sufficient. Sometimes in the case of a very light body spray, I'll do quick once over on my clothing or hair but try not to overdo it. Heavier, more expensive perfumes, I'm even more frugal with because of the stronger longer lasting scents.
I personally think if everyone in the room can smell your cologne when you walk in, you're guilty of overkill. Opinions?
