MAKEUP- BASICS

let me help you with the basics of make up,
though i am not professional at this,
still can give a good set.

When ever you start make up you have to prepare a good base for it. But the first thing should be a moisturized skin incase you have an oil skin please choose an oil free moisturizer or lotion.
So if you just took bath, go with this, else follow cleansing, toning and then moisturizing.

Now take an ice cube and then apply/rub (gently) on your face, this will make the pores in the face smaller. Follow this with a foundation, when choosing a foundation, please be very careful. It should match with your skin tone, if you already have fair skin; choose something which will suit yours, because when you choose fair toned foundations then your make up will look very artificial.

Apply concealer
Around your eyes, this will conceal the dark circles and in case if you have scars just give a touch on it. But do not over do.
apply on the dark outlines of lips too


choose concealer which are one step less toned than your foundation! ;)

Base makeup is done.
Now choose between lips and eyes, which one does, you think is the best feature in your face and then highlight.
But if you highlight both you will look too flamboyant.

Let’s start the make up from eyes.

Eyes-
Apply an eye shadow either a powdered one or cream shadows which will make you feel better. For good results blending colors will work else you can use simple color. Then add a glitter if you are going to a party.

Then apply a coat of mascara after some times apply another coat, to make the lashes look dramatic. Adding silver or golden colored mascara can make eyes look gorgeous.

And now comes the complex part, applying eyeliner.
It will be difficult for you to do at the first time so do not try it at the last moment.
Have patience while working on eyeliner.
You can use pencils to make easier, or pens if you can draw better.

And remember, not to make your eyes look dramatic if you have planned to highlight lips.
Make up should look natural and wonderful.

For normal occasions you can choose neutral shades like pink, browns etc...
And in order to apply the blush, dip your brush in the blush, say cheese :P and smile see which is the highest point of cheeks (we call apple of cheeks :P ) and apply it upwards,
You can add little bit of shimmer or bronzer for a spectacular look.

Start with a lip liner,
And fill it with the lipstick.
Note- lip liner must be of lighter shade and the lipstick should be dark, if you invert it... It will give Goth look,

Applying a gloss is completely optional; since it has to be retouched every now and then you can have that handy.
And for lipstick to stay longer apply little bit of compact powder on it and then apply another coat of lipstick.

Finally apply the compact powder, give an even touch. It should not be excess or less.
Use a brush to dust away excess powder

Make up is done!!
And yes, do not forget to do makeup to your neck else you will have differentiated look between neck and face.
Also if you wear dress which will have deep necks, then cover it up with this same make up.

Make up should be perfectly paired with the type of a person's skin.It is also determine for the type of occasion of if it's just for everyday input.Just keep remembering a true beauty comes within but of course it's better to be beautiful inside and out.
