The latest tricks to take your look from daytime sleek to nighttime sexy.

Twisted Waves

A relaxed bun in the morning transforms easily into beautiful waves by evening, no curling iron required.

A.M.: Keep hair hydrated with Pantene Pro-V Moisture Renewal Shampoo and Conditioner ($3.99 each). "You don't want a lot of volume, and moisturizing cleansers will add weight and shine," says Andy Lecompte, owner of the eponymous West Hollywood salon. To smooth strands, apply a leave-in conditioner like Paul Mitchell Super Strong Liquid Treatment ($14.95) to damp hair. Lecompte suggests blow-drying your hair if it's thick. Otherwise, it'll be wet at day's end. Then twist hair into a knot and secure it with RickyCare Retro Small Bobby Pins ($1.99).
